#Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munich live on the Sky Sports App in 9:16

 Watch Dortmund vs Bayern from 7.20pm on Tuesday - kick-off 7.30pm - on Sky Sports Premier League and in a new mobile-friendly 9:16 stream on the Sky Sports App

In a first of its kind, Sky Sports will broadcast the heavyweight German Super Cup clash between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich on Tuesday night on the Sky Sports App in a mobile-first vertical 9:16 stream.

It will be the first time that an elite-level football match has been broadcast in a vertical stream fully optimised to viewing on a mobile device and is exclusive on Sky Sports.

The 'Klassiker' will also be broadcast live on the Sky Sports Premier League channel. The game kicks-off at 7.30pm.

The new mobile-friendly 9:16 vertical stream will be available on the Sky Sports App and will be free to watch in the UK and Ireland.

Traditionally, sport has been broadcast in a 16:19 landscape ratio. But the 9:16 stream on the Sky Sports App will mean that viewers can watch the game in portrait mode.

German heavyweights go head-to-head again

Bayern and Dortmund have met eight times in the showpiece since 2011, with Bayern winning five times during that period, including last year, when Joshua Kimmich struck late to seal a 3-2 victory.

The latest edition of the 'Klassiker' takes place on Dortmund turf at Signal Iduna Park and while their sides are Super Cup stalwarts, Bayern boss Julian Nagelsmann and Dortmund's Marco Rose are making their managerial debuts in the competition.
